Next Week

I will be traveling for work next week to Toronto and Atlanta.  First time to Canada and first time outside the airport in Georgia.  I'll try to get some pics to post.  I don't love traveling for work so much so I'll be happy to get home.

KC Temple and Nauvoo

Last weekend Matt's family came into town and we went to the KC temple open house.  It's a small temple, but it's great to have one closer.  After the open house, we drove to Nauvoo for an overnight road trip.  It's so beautiful there!  We went to the temple Saturday morning and since Papa knows the chief engineer at the temple, we got a personal tour.  We were taken up in the bell tower, walked up several flights of narrow circular steps, had incredible views of Nauvoo, and were within a few feet of angel Moroni's feet.  It was a fun trip and it was great having Matt's family with us.

 

On a side note, we skyped with Lynzee and Abbey last night and Lynzee has braces!  Matt got a cute picture from the Skype session that I'll try to post.
